The title tokens

This page names every token a template can use and says what happens when one is empty.

  • {year}, {set}, {name} and {number} are what the card is.
  • {parallel} is the parallel or finish. Blank on a base card.
  • {rc}, {auto} and {patch} only show up on a rookie, an autograph or a memorabilia card.
  • {serial} is the print run, like /99. {grade} is blank on a raw card.
  • {condition} is the raw condition. {condition_short} is NM, LP, MP or HP.
  • {finish} is Holo or Reverse Holo. {edition} is 1st Edition or Shadowless.
  • {rarity} is a chase rarity like Illustration Rare. It is blank on a common.
  • {stamp} is Prerelease, Staff or another stamp.
  • {sport} is the sport or game. It drops out when the set name already says it.

The description tokens

These tokens are for a description, where there is room to write the whole word.

  • {rarity_full} is any rarity, Common included. {finish_full} is Non-Holo, Holo or Reverse Holo.
  • {edition_full} is 1st Edition, Shadowless or Unlimited.
  • {secret} is Secret Rare on a card numbered above the set, and blank otherwise.
  • {kind} is Pokémon, Trainer or Energy. {language} is the language on a card that is not English.
  • {cert} is the cert number on a slab. {set_code} is the set code, like MEW. It is blank on an older set.
  • {facts} is the whole list at once, one line per fact. It covers the set, the card number, the rarity, the finish, the edition, the stamp, the kind, the language and the condition.

A token with nothing to put in it disappears, and the spacing closes up behind it. No double spaces, no stranded slashes.
