Signing in and signing out

This page covers the emailed sign-in code, your password, signing out everywhere and deleting the account.

Two-factor code by email

Turn it on from Security. We then email a six-digit code the first time you sign in on a device.

Turning it off needs a code as well, so somebody holding only your password cannot remove it.

A code lasts a few minutes. Send it again if it does not arrive.

An authenticator app set up before this still works. New accounts get the emailed code.

Your password and other devices

Change password on Security emails you a reset link. We never show or store the password itself.

Sign out everywhere ends every session on every device, including the one you are on. Use it if you signed in somewhere you should not have.

Deleting your account

Deleting removes your cards, batches, scans, settings and connections. You type your email address to confirm, and it cannot be undone.

It does not end your live eBay listings. End those on eBay first, or they stay on sale with nothing behind them.
