Your profile
Profile holds your name, your address and what you told us about your shop.
Profile is the first pane of the Account group in Settings. Your photo in the menu opens it.
If you list on eBay and have not picked a ship-from location, we send this address to eBay to make one. It needs at least your postcode.
Buyers see the town a card ships from, not your street.
The three cards
- Name and photo holds what the menu shows at the bottom, and your email address.
- Address says where you are, and every field in it is optional. Pick your country from the list. The postcode box takes letters and numbers.
- About your shop holds your business name, where you sell, and whether you have a scanner.
One Save at the foot of the pane saves all three.
The Share catalog photos switch is on Free scans and on Photo Rewards.
Product email
Product email is a welcome email, then at most one email a week. The weekly email is the card news: the week's top trading card stories, each linked to the site that reported it, with a line from us. It can also carry our news or, from 16 October 2026, a guide we picked for how you use My Card Wizard.
It comes from news@mycardwizard.com. Until 29 October 2026 it stays off until you turn it on in Email.
From 29 October 2026, it is on unless you turn it off if you live in the United States and made your account on or after 14 October 2026. Every other account stays off until you turn it on.
If you sign up and do not pick a plan, product email also includes one note a day later about picking a plan.
You can also turn it on when you sign up, or under the plans on the last step of sign-up. The box and the switch start off, so skipping them subscribes you to nothing.
Sign-in codes, receipts and support replies are not product email. Those arrive whether the switch is on or off.
Every email carries an unsubscribe link, and that link turns the same switch off.
Weekly summary
On a Monday after a week you used My Card Wizard, we email a summary of your own account. It says how many cards you scanned, listed and sold, how many cards wait to be listed, and how many scans you have left.
It goes to accounts on a trial or a paid plan. A week with nothing in it gets no email.
It is on until you turn it off in Email. The link at the foot of each summary turns it off too.
