Cross-List
One run lists each card on eBay and Shopify and keeps the two in step.
Cross-List is a box under the channels in the List cards dialog. It shows when eBay and Shopify are both connected and both chosen.
Tick it and one run lists each card in both places. The Check step lists every card once, with the price it goes out at on each channel.
Before you can use it
Sold Sync has to be on. Until it is, the Cross-List row is a link to the switch on eBay tools.
Sold Sync is what stops a card selling twice. A card on two channels is bought on one of them, and Sold Sync takes it off the other.
The two duplicate choices
- Already on eBay decides what happens to a card eBay already has. Smart Combine adds the copies to that listing. Skip leaves them out. List separately makes a second listing.
- Duplicates on Shopify does the same on that side. Combine quantities adds to the product you already have, and List separately makes a second product.
When one side refuses
We list to eBay first and then to Shopify. If Shopify refuses a card eBay has just taken, we withdraw that eBay listing again, so the card ends up on neither.
If eBay refuses a card, Shopify is never asked for it. The Done step names every card that was rolled back and says why.
A card on one channel only
Without Cross-List, a card listed on one channel is taken out of the others until you release it, so the same card cannot sell twice.
Downloading a Whatnot or Square file marks those cards listed, the same way List now does. If you never uploaded the file, release the cards from Listings.
