Listing a batch
One dialog lists a batch to every channel, and nothing goes out until you press List.
The List cards dialog
List cards, in the batch header, opens one dialog for every channel and every file. It names each channel and how many cards would go to it before you list anything.
Every channel is a box with a tick. Tick the ones this batch goes to, then press Next.
- List now sends the cards straight to the channel. Download a file gives you a CSV to upload yourself.
- Cards in the file takes either your Ready cards or every card shown.
- Pictures sends your scans, the catalog photo, or both of them.
- Each card lists separately, even when two cards are the same printing. eBay refuses a second identical listing, so see What happens after you list.
Nothing lists until you press List at the foot of the dialog. Closing it changes nothing.

Cards in a file
Ready cards includes the cards you approved. Every card shown includes the current selection even when a card still has an error. Check the file before uploading it.
Checking an eBay listing
The Check step names every card that will list and shows one of them in the Listing preview. Press a title in the table to show that card instead.
For a card going to eBay, the preview is built by the same code that lists it, so it shows what eBay will get. It has four views.
- Listing shows Buy It Now or Auction, the condition in the words eBay uses, and the eBay category.
- Specifics lists the item specifics buyers filter on, such as the set, the card number, the rarity and the finish.
- Description shows the description the way a buyer sees it on eBay.
- Fees estimates eBay's fee on the list price, and the price after that fee.
The fee estimate is 13.25% of the price, plus 30 cents on an order of $10 or less and 40 cents above that. It leaves out shipping, sales tax, a store subscription and promoted listings, which all change what eBay really charges.
Above the table, the run shows how many cards go to eBay, what they list at in total, and the estimated fees on all of them.
Prices after fees is the list value less the fee on the item price. eBay also charges a fee on shipping and tax, so you keep less than that.
eBay refuses a Buy It Now price under $0.99. The Check step names those cards above the table.
Press Raise to $0.99 there to set each of those cards to $0.99, and each one then reads Set by you.
More eBay options
When you list on eBay alone, the How step has a More eBay options section. It is closed until you open it, and every card lists the usual way if you never do.
- Shipping picks which of your eBay shipping policies this run lists with. It starts on the policy saved in eBay settings.
- Under $20 ships with picks a second policy for cheaper cards, such as an envelope. A graded card never takes it.
Both answers are remembered for your next run. The Listing view of the preview names the policy each card takes.
We tell eBay that a raw card ships in a 3 ounce thick envelope and a graded card in an 8 ounce parcel.
Condition notes
A card can carry a note about its own condition, such as a small crease or whitening on the back. In the card panel, open the closed section at the foot of Details and type it under Condition notes.
eBay shows the note to buyers beside the condition. Most cards need none, and a card without one lists as usual.
Auction runs
An auction run puts a whole batch up as eBay auctions, and each card has its own starting bid.
Pick eBay on its own, then pick Auction under eBay format on the How step. Pick the length (5, 7 or 10 days) and when the auctions start.
Starting bid on the How step sets every card's bid to 75% or 50% of its list price. It starts at 75%.
On the Check step you can type any one card's bid in the Starting bid column. A $10 card, a $25 card and a $50 card can all go in one run.
Bidding cannot start below the starting bid. We add no reserve price and no Buy It Now, unless your eBay payment policy asks for immediate payment. eBay needs a Buy It Now price then, so each card also carries its list price.
eBay needs that Buy It Now price to be at least 30% over the starting bid.
A card with more than one copy cannot go in an auction, because an eBay auction sells one copy. Auto Cross-List always uses Buy It Now.
Staggered starts
Together puts every auction up at once. Staggered puts one card up every few seconds, in the order of the batch, so the auctions also end that far apart.
Type the seconds between cards, from 5 to 3600. We start each card ourselves, so the spacing holds even if you close the tab.
Launching an auction run
Press Prepare. We put every card on eBay as an auction that is not live yet, and we check each one. Nothing is live until you press Launch.
The run then shows each card, its starting bid, when it starts, and any error with the reason. eBay fees estimates what eBay keeps if every card sells at its starting bid. It is an estimate, because eBay does not quote auction fees ahead.
Press Launch once to put the auctions up. You can close the tab: the run carries on, and opening List cards shows it again.
A card with an error does not stop the others. Try again sends only the cards with an error, and it checks eBay first so no card is listed twice.
If eBay says your account has reached its selling limit, the run pauses. Ask eBay to raise the limit, then press Resume.
Unsold auctions
An auction that ends with no winner stays ended, and the card can be listed again anywhere.
Tick Relist unsold cards to put each unsold card back up as Buy It Now at its list price. That happens within about half an hour of the end, and Listings then links the new listing.
An auction you end early on eBay stays down, because we check each auction on eBay about once an hour. In its last two hours we cannot tell your end from the natural one, so end the Buy It Now listing we put up.
What happens after you list
Cards that qualify go live as Buy It Now listings. An auction run goes up when you press Launch.
A big run goes out 100 cards at a time. The count beside the List button says how many have listed so far.
The last step names every card a channel refused and why, and links each card that went up on eBay. Try again sends only the refused cards again.
eBay refuses a second listing of a card that is already live with the same title and details. Press Add to live listings on the last step, and we add that card's Copies to the live listing.
Sometimes a channel does not answer at all. Try again checks those cards first, and it sends only the cards that did not list.
A file row counts what is in the file, not what is live. Nothing sells until you upload it.
The card carries a link to its listing. Listings keeps both live and ended ones, so "what happened to that card" always has an answer.
Deleting your account does not end live eBay listings. End them on eBay first if you want them gone.
