Doing one thing to many cards

Ticking rows turns the toolbar into a bar that changes every ticked card at once.

Bulk actions

Tick a row and the bulk bar takes the toolbar's place. It acts on the ticked rows and nothing else.

The tick box in the header selects everything you can see.

The Select menu at the front of the strip ticks every card of one status that you can see. Its answers are All, Error, Draft, Ready, Listed and None.

Hold Shift and tick a box to tick every card between it and the last box you ticked. It works in Table view and in the list in Card view.

Card view has a tick box on every card in its list, and its Select all box sits at the front of the toolbar. Space ticks the card that is open.

The cards you tick stay ticked when you switch between Table view and Card view. The bulk bar is the same in both views.

The buttons

• Set this price writes one number to every ticked card, and each one then reads Set by you. No rule ever moves a price set this way.
• Condition changes the condition of every ticked card. A market price is a Near Mint price, so anything lower cuts each price on the spot.
• Finish and Edition appear on a card game batch. They write one answer to every ticked card, and Not set clears it. The title and the price follow.
• Set list price to market puts each ticked card back on its market price. It skips a price you typed and a card we have no market price for, and it says how many it skipped.
• Mark ready approves every ticked card that qualifies and names how many did not. See what qualifies.
• Raise to $0.99 shows when a ticked card is under eBay's $0.99. It raises only those cards to $0.99.
• Remove takes the ticked cards out of the batch for good. It asks first, and Enter answers Remove. A listed card stays in the batch.

Mark ready asks first when a ticked card has a finish we picked. Mark ready anyway goes on, and Show them narrows the table to those cards.

The controls that do not fit move into More. They keep the same names there, at the top of the menu.

Edition moves first, then Condition, then Set list price to market, Finish and the price box. Mark ready and Remove always stay on the bar.

In More, Set a price opens a box for the price. Set this price writes it to every ticked card.

A money box takes a dollar sign and a comma. We read $4.50, 4,50 and 4.50 as the same number.

The Ready box on a row does the same for one card. On a card that cannot list it refuses and names the missing field. Mark ready is in the row menu as well.

Undoing a bulk change

Every bulk change except Remove has an Undo on the message that confirms it, at the bottom of the screen.

Undo puts back exactly what was there, including "no price at all", which is not the same as zero.

Cmd and Z undo the last bulk change in Table view and in Card view. Ctrl and Z do the same on Windows.
