Adding cards to a batch

You can add more cards to a batch by dropping scans in, typing a card in, or using photos from your phone.

Add cards is in the header of any batch. We read and price the new cards like the first ones.

• Add scans takes your files. Drop them in, or press Choose files.
• Type it in lets you search the catalog by name and pick the printing. The card joins the batch priced, and it uses no scan.
• From your phone takes the photos waiting from your phone.

The second step asks two things about the pile. It asks whether the cards are raw or graded, and whether you scanned fronts only or fronts and backs. They are the same two answers the batch form asks.

To type in a lot of cards at once, use Quick List instead.

How many cards one drop takes

The number beside the drop zone is how many scans this drop can take. It is 250, or your daily scan number if that is smaller.

Drop more than that and the rest are not read. Split a big pile into two batches.

How big a scan has to be

A scan under 700 pixels on the long edge gets a warning before anything is read. A phone photo gets the same warning.

The collector number is the smallest print on a card, so it is the first thing to go blurry. Without it we often cannot tell which printing you have.

Scan with the whole card on the glass. On a phone, shoot straight on in even light with the whole card in the frame.
