Cookie Policy

My Card Wizard sets no cookies. The server never sends a Set-Cookie header, and the app never writes to document.cookie. That is why you have not seen a cookie banner: there is nothing to consent to.

What the app does use is your browser's local storage and session storage. These are similar in that they keep small pieces of data on your device, and different in one way that matters: they are never transmitted to our server automatically the way cookies are. They stay in your browser until they are cleared.

Verified on the live site on 10 August 2026: document.cookie on www.mycardwizard.com is empty. You can check the same way, in your browser's developer console, at any time.

No analytics. The app loads no Google Analytics, Plausible, PostHog, Mixpanel, Segment, or any other analytics product.

No advertising. No ad pixels, no conversion trackers, no remarketing tags, no data brokers.

No session recording or heatmaps. Nothing replays what you did on screen.

No cross-site tracking, and no third-party tracking scripts of any kind. We do not build a profile of you, and we have nothing to sell to anyone who would.

Because none of this exists in the app, there is no tracking to opt out of — which is also why a Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signal from your browser changes nothing here. There is no behaviour for it to switch off.

Signed-in session (local storage, key beginning sb- and ending -auth-token). Set by Supabase, our authentication provider. It is what keeps you signed in between visits. Strictly necessary — clearing it signs you out.

cardmatic:workspace — your working state for a batch: draft edits, titles, prices, and selections, saved instantly so a refresh or a dropped connection does not lose your work. Also synced to your account on the server.

cardmatic:whatnot-template — the Whatnot export settings you chose, so you do not re-pick them for every batch.

cardmatic-buy-target-pct — your preferred buy-offer percentage in the countertop offer calculator.

cardmatic:listing-defaults — your eBay store category and the card defaults applied to a new batch.

cardmatic:listing-rules — your title and description templates, pricing bands, best-offer thresholds, and default listing quantity.

cardmatic:pulled — which lines you have ticked off on the eBay pull sheet, so they stay ticked while you walk the shelves. The orders file itself is read in your browser and never uploaded.

cardmatic:nav-open — whether the sidebar is expanded or collapsed.

cardmatic:getting-started-done and cardmatic:getting-started-open — which onboarding steps you have finished and whether that panel is open.

cardmatic:onboarding-celebrated — whether you have already been shown the first-batch celebration, so it does not repeat.

cardmatic:queue-hint — whether you have dismissed the keyboard-shortcut hint under the to-do list, so it does not come back.

cardmatic:comps-collapsed:v2 (session storage) — set only if you collapse the comparable-sales drawer on a card, so it stays collapsed for that card while the tab is open. Absent means open.

cardmatic:chunk-reload (session storage) — a one-shot flag used to recover from a failed script load after a new version ships. It is removed as soon as the page loads successfully.

Signing out clears the session key. Clearing site data for www.mycardwizard.com in your browser settings removes everything listed above.

Nothing on this page is required for the marketing pages, the changelog, or these legal pages — you can read all of those with site data blocked entirely. The signed-in app needs the session key to work, because that is what proves who you are.

Clearing local storage while signed in will sign you out and discard any unsaved workspace edits that have not yet synced to the server.

Some things happen off our site, on a page run by someone else, and those pages follow their own policies rather than this one.

Paying for a plan takes you to Stripe Checkout. Connecting a marketplace takes you to eBay or Shopify to sign in and approve access. Those companies may set their own cookies on their own pages. We do not control that, and we cannot see it.

When you come back to My Card Wizard, you are back under this policy.

If we ever add something that does set cookies or track usage, we will update this page before it ships, say plainly what it is and why, and add a consent step if one is required. The date at the top shows the current version.
