Price Sync
Price Sync moves the price of your live eBay listings when the market price moves.
What Price Sync does
Price Sync moves the price of your live eBay listings to follow the market.
Each listing keeps the markup it went out with. List a card at 10% over the market price and it stays 10% over as the market moves.
Price Sync is a pane of Settings, in the Selling group.
It writes to eBay only. A list price you typed in the app is not changed, and a card with no live eBay listing is not touched.
The four settings
- Automatic runs Price Sync for you on a schedule. With it off, nothing moves until you press Run now.
- How often sets the schedule to daily or weekly.
- Which way sets the direction. Up and down follows the market both ways, and Up only never lowers a price.
- Minimum change and floor price set the limits. We skip a move smaller than the minimum, and we never take a price under the floor.
Press Save, then Run now to check your live listings once. Run now works once every 10 minutes.
What a run shows
After each run you see how many listings were checked, changed and skipped, and why. A table shows the old price, the new price and the reason for each change.
A new price over three times the current one, or under a third of it, is not made. It shows as Move too big, and you decide.
The first run on an older listing records the market price and changes nothing. It shows as First check.
