Slab Read
You take a photo of the slab and we read the card, the grade and the cert number off the label.
A slab does not fit a sheet feeder, so take a photo of it, or scan it on a flatbed. Slab Read takes the card, the grade and the cert number off the label.
Starting a slab batch
- Press Start a graded batch on Graded cards.
- Pick the category, then press Add cards. The form opens with Raw or graded set to Graded.
- Shoot each slab straight on, in even light. Plastic throws glare over the small print.
That answer applies to the whole batch, so keep slabs and loose cards in separate batches.
Checking a cert number
We do not look cert numbers up for you. PSA used to offer that free and now charges for it, so we send you to PSA Cert Verification. It needs no account.
CGC, BGS and SGC offer no lookup at all, so those have always come off the label.
What a graded card is worth
Graded and raw are two different markets, so we never price a graded card from raw sales.
A graded card is priced only from sales of the same slab at the same grade. Those are rare, so most slabs get no price. Type one yourself, or press Open on eBay and price it from what you see.
