Card scanning software for TCG and sports card sellers

Scan a box of cards with a document scanner. My Card Wizard reads each card, prices it and lists it where you sell.

How it works

  1. Scan your cards with a document scanner that feeds a stack of cards.
  2. Drop the folder of scans into a new batch.
  3. We read the name, set and number of each card and check them against our catalog.
  4. Each card game card gets the TCGplayer market price for its own printing.
  5. Check the cards in Table view, then list them on the channels you connect.

How accurate it is

In a test on 25 September 2026, we read the name, set and number of 50 cards from 17 sets. We got all 50 right.

When we are not sure of a card, we mark it Error and say why, so you check only those cards.

With Scan Credit Return, a card marked Error on its first scan gives back its scan credit, up to a monthly limit.

How fast it is

We read a 40-card batch in about 20 seconds.

Supported cards

We read Pokémon, Magic: The Gathering, Yu-Gi-Oh!, One Piece, Lorcana and more than a dozen other card games.

We also read sports cards, including baseball, basketball, football and hockey.

What you need

You need a document scanner that saves one image per card.

Our scanner page names the models we recommend and what each one is best for.

Questions

Do I need a special card scanner?

No. Any document scanner that saves one image per card works, and our scanner page names the models we recommend.

Where do the prices come from?

A card game card gets the TCGplayer market price for its own printing, updated every day. Some cards have no market price, and you set the list price for those.

What happens when a card is read wrong?

We mark a card Error when we are not sure of it. You pick the right card from a list of matches, and the price follows your pick.

How do I try it?
