Stamp

A stamp is a mark an event or a store put on the card, and nearly every card has none.

The event stamps

A mark an event, a program or a store put on the card. The card is otherwise the same card as the one in the set.

• The event stamps are Prerelease, Staff, Pokémon League, Championship and Worlds.
• The program stamps are Player Rewards, Professor Program, Play! Pokémon and Pokémon Together.
• The store stamps are Pokémon Center, GameStop, Best Buy and EB Games.

Nearly every card is None.

We read a stamp off the scan when it is printed as words, like STAFF or GameStop. We often miss one drawn as a logo, so check the Stamp row yourself on a Pokémon Center card.

A stamped copy sells as its own card, so the stamp goes into the listing title and into the eBay search.

A stamp is not an edition. The 1st Edition mark is a print run and lives in its own row.
