What rookie, autograph and memorabilia mean

These four facts can multiply what a sports card is worth, and you can set each one yourself.

Rookie and autograph

Rookie means the card is from the player’s first year.

Autograph means a real ink signature on the card. A signature printed into the artwork is not one.

Memorabilia and the serial

Memorabilia means a piece of jersey or bat is set into the card.

A serial number like 25/99 is stamped on the card and says how many copies were made. It is not the card number.

Set them on the card

We read all four off the scan, and a scan gets them wrong sometimes. Open a card and change any of them in the Card section at the top of the panel.

Each one goes into the title and into the item specifics eBay shows buyers. Team goes into the item specifics and into a title that uses the {team} token, and you type that one yourself.
