Scan both sides of a sports card

Scan both sides of a sports card, because the back holds the number, the set and the year.

Card game backs are all the same, so fronts only is fine there.

A sports back carries the number, the set and the stat line, and it is often the only place the year appears.

So scan fronts and backs, and drop them in as front then back pairs.

The year is the field a scan gets wrong most often. If the year we read gives that number to another player, we check our catalog.

When the catalog lists your player at that number in only one year of the same set, we use that year.
