Fixing a card we read wrong

You can read a card again, attach its back, fix the pairs of a batch, or move one card into another language.

Re-scanning a card

Re-scan is in the panel header. It reads your scan again from the start.

It does not use a scan, and it can change the name, the set and the number.

Use Re-scan when the name is wrong. For anything else, pick the right card under Other matches.

Adding the back of a card

A card with no back carries an Add back box under your scan. Drop the back in and it attaches to that card.

A card with a back carries Replace back under it. Pick another picture and it takes the place of the back. A click on the back itself opens it bigger.

A back that was read as its own card can be fixed. Open it and pick "This is the back of the next card" from the card menu.

When a card's front is stored as its back, pick Swap front and back from the card menu. We read the other side as the front.

The new read sets the card name, the finish and the version. A price or a title you typed stays.

The swap uses a scan only when the card came back as an Error and did not use one.

When two or more cards in a batch were scanned from the back, press Read the other side of all at the top of the batch.

Fixing the pairs of a batch

Fix pairs, beside Add cards at the top of the batch, shows every card with its front beside its back.

When the front and back of a sports card name two different players, the card says The front and back are two different cards. We keep what the front says until you fix the pair.

Swap, move, split or remove scans the way you do under Your cards, then press Save pairs.

We read only the fronts that changed. A card that already used a scan is read again for free.

A card that Fix pairs adds uses one scan. A card that comes back as an Error does not use a scan, up to a monthly limit.

When two or more cards were scanned from the back, and one has no back scan, the line at the top offers Fix pairs.

One card in a different language

We move a Japanese, Korean or Chinese card out of an English batch ourselves when its printed name says so and the English catalog does not hold the card. The card says we changed it, and you can close that line.

Change Category on that one card when we left it in the wrong language. Your answer always wins.

We then match and price the card again. Changing the language is not you telling us which card it is, so a wrong name needs a re-scan as well.

A card from another game works the same way. Change Category to its own game and we match and price it as that game, with no new read.
