The market price is the TCGplayer price for the printing you picked.

Where the market number comes from

A card game card is priced from the TCGplayer market price for the printing you picked.

Checking the card on TCGplayer

Open on TCGplayer opens the matched product in a new tab when we know it. Otherwise it searches using the card details you see. Check the finish, edition and condition there. Open on eBay and Search Google also stay beside the price.

We hold that table ourselves and update it every day, so the number is there the moment the card is read.

The number is for one printing. A Reverse Holo and a Non-Holo are two rows with two prices, so the number changes the moment you pick the finish.

Type over it if you know better. The row then reads Your market price.

Sometimes the TCGplayer price for a printing looks wrong beside its own low and mid prices. We leave that price blank, and the card has an error. Check the card on TCGplayer and type a list price.

A sports card is priced from the current eBay listings for the same card, with a discount applied.

When only 1 or 2 listings of that card number are on eBay, we still give a price from them. The card stays a Draft and says the price came from very few listings. Press Keep to use that price, or type your own. We never mark these cards Ready for you.

We give a graded card no price, so you set one.

The condition-adjusted price

The condition-adjusted price is the market price after your condition and your finish. The row appears only when the two differ.

Market prices are Near Mint prices. A Lightly Played card is worth less, and this is the row where that happens.
